Beecroft Buddies offers your child an innovative play-based curriculum that is guided by the Australian Early Years Learning Framework.
We have 4 rooms :
Caterpillars (Nursery)
The transition from home to childcare is a very challenging and difficult time for most families. Our aim is to create a calm, safe and nurturing environment for our most precious little ones. We will create a consistent routine between your home and Buddies. We provide your child with the care and attention they need. Feeding, sleeping and nappy changing are an important part of our daily routine.
Every child, especially babies need to feel secure and loved. We provide sensory experiences and activities for all the children, but most importantly …. we are always talking and singing to them and give each child individual attention.
Butterflies (Toddlers)
Our toddlers are busy!! They have a new found independence and are ready to explore. They can move around without too much help and their language is starting to develop. We provide them with gross motor activities to develop their balance, strength, coordination and spatial awareness. They are also exploring their world through pretend play and start to develop their love of craft and messy play! The children are also developing friendships and a sense of security through group activities. Singing, stories and games are an important part of our program. We also encourage self-help skills and encourage them to become more independent. We will help you with toilet training!
Ladybeetles (Pre-Kindy)
Our 3 year olds are so clever! They are naturally inquisitive and ready to learn about their environment and the world around them. We provide a stimulating and flexible curriculum that encourages thinking, investigating, exploring and problem solving. Most importantly, we facilitate this through a play based environment, where the children are able to create their own learning experiences with their friends. We want to set the foundations for life long learners.
Bumblebees (Preschool)
School readiness really begins from the moment a child comes into our care and interacts with other children and Educators. When they come to Buddies, we help them to develop the skills they need to attend school and the dispositions they need for a happy and confident life. We provide a rich curriculum which encourages problem-solving, decision-making and creativity, as well as developing self-esteem, emotional stability and independence. We understand that literacy and numeracy skills are important when starting school. We incorporate literacy and numeracy in a way which we know they will understand and most importantly make them feel pretty clever and proud! We also foster their social and emotional skills – teaching them to play nicely with others and helping them to learn to regulate their emotions.
